Moldovan PM meets US envoy

Chisinau, 30 January /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Pavel Filip today had a meeting with US Ambassador to Moldova Dereck J. Hogan, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The officials exchanged views on elections-related issues in Moldova. The premier reiterated the government’s determination to ensure a fair, transparent, free electoral process and in line with all international rules. To this end, several foreign observers were invited to monitor the elections, and cameras will be installed in the polling stations. At the same time, the prime minister called for an objective attitude from observers and partners.
The officials also discussed boosting the Moldovan-American dialogue, including cooperation in information technology and cyber security.
