Two new nursery groups opened at kindergarten in Moldovan capital's district

Chisinau, 30 January /MOLDPRES/ – Two new nursery groups were opened today at kindergarten №137 in Rascani sector of Chisinau municipality.
The institution was reopened four years ago. Previously, the kindergarten building was used for the study of the primary classes in the nearby high school named after Stefan cel Mare.
For the current repairs and purchase of furniture, it was allocated the amount of 700 thousand lei from the municipal budget (BM). The capacity of new groups is 40 children.
In 2018, there were reopened seven kindergarten groups in Rascani sector.
There are about 160 preschool education institutions in Chisinau, attended by almost 38 thousand children, divided into 1,433 groups.
According to a governmental decision, the parents will be able to enter nurseries or kindergartens from the age of 02 years and the state will cover the costs of providing education and care services. In this respect, the state has undertaken to ensure gradually the development of educational services, depending on the level of training and the places available in the early education institutions, as well as the financial means provided for it. Currently, there are about 800 similar institutions in Moldova which are prepared or in the process of adapting the infrastructure to receive half the number of children aged 02 – 03 years.
