Japan donated advanced equipment to Ialoveni district hospital

Chisinau, 31 January /MOLDPRES/- Ialoveni district hospital was provided with medical diagnostic equipment worth 1 million lei 700 thousand lei offered by the Japanese government.
Attending the event were State Secretary of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection Boris Gîlca and Ambassador of Japan to Moldova Masanobu Yoshii.
“Providing institutions with high-quality medical equipment will help establish a correct diagnosis and apply appropriate treatment to patients, thus enhancing the quality of health care for people. We thank the Japanese government for assistance in the development of health system in our country," Gilca said.
Masanobu Yoshii said that this subsidy is part of Japan's bilateral official assistance to Moldova's development in the field of human security - a priority of the Japanese policy on international cooperation.
The KUSANONE Program provides financial support to the Republic of Moldova in health and education under Grant Assistance for Human Security Projects. The healthcare system in our country benefits from assistance under the KUSANONE Program since 2008, with projects worth over USD 3.2 million being implemented so far.
