Euro to appreciate in early February

Chisinau, 31 January /MOLDPRES/ – In early February, the European single currency (EUR) will appreciate, and the US dollar (USD) will cheapen against the national currency of Moldova (MDL). The official exchange rates for upcoming three days have been presented by the National Bank of Moldova (BNM) today.

As such, the EUR appreciates with MDL 0.07, up to MDL 19.62. On the other hand, the USD depreciates with MDL 0.01 and getting the cost of MDL 17.08.

The Romanian leu (RON) adds MDL 0.04. Its official value will be MDL 04.14. Also, the Russian rouble (RUB) increases by MDL 0.01 and gets the level of MDL 0.26.

As for the Ukrainian hryvnia (UAH), the BNM has set an exchange rate similar to 31 January which is equal with MDL 0.61.
