Moldovan Democrats launch website for voters

Chisinau, 1 February /MOLDPRES/- The Democratic Party of Moldova (PDM) has launched a website for voters - www.candidat.md -where citizens can learn more about candidates submitted by the party at the parliamentary elections of 24 February.

PDM deputy head Vladimir Cebotari said today that the information on PDM candidates in the national constituency and in the uninominal constituencies, the manifest of the formation and the map of the constituencies was set out there.

“On 24 February, we will have for the first time elections on mixed system. It is important for every citizen to know who to vote in his constituency, in addition to having a ballot of the parties on the national constituency. We have been thinking of helping citizens to be properly informed and to know their candidates,” Cebotari said.

“Candidates in constituencies” – includes information about each candidate submitted by the formation and electoral program. Besides, on the new page created by PDM, the voters will be able to analyze the political manifesto of the party and the list of candidates of the party in the national constituency.

"We hoped to be a good one for citizens and make their electoral exercise easier," Cebotari said.

The electoral campaign for the 24 February parliamentary elections began on 25 January.
