Chisinau, 1 February /MOLDPRES/ - Pupils from two lyceums of Moldova’s capital today assembled at the Ion Creanga National Library for Children at an event dedicated to the Chinese New Year or the Spring Festival, organized in partnership with the Embassy of China in Chisinau.
Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of China to Zhang Yinghong has said that China and Moldova were very good friends and partners and the friendship among the two nations had a long history.
”A fruitful cooperation in diverse sectors has been established between our countries, including politics, economics, culture, etc. In particular, the cultural exchanges played an important role in the deepening of the friendship between the two nations. The youth is the future of the nation and the future of the friendship between China and Moldova. Therefore, I hope that, through this event, children will be able to take knowledge of the Chinese culture, to understand the Chinese folk customs and become witnesses and inheritors of the Moldovan-Chinese friendship. The Embassy of China in Moldova, as always, will back cultural exchanges and will provide more opportunities to the two nations to know and understand each other well,” Zhang Yinghong said.
