Chisinau, 1 February /MOLDPRES/ - More cultural actions today took place at libraries from Moldova, on the occasion of the World Read Aloud Day.
On this occasion, an event titled, What do you say? Shall we read together?, was held at the National Library (BNRM), within which pupils from more lyceums read along with writer Alexandru Placinta from his book ”Poveștile bunicului Alexandru” (The tales of grandfather Alexandru), which comprises 30 tales illustrated by the author. Contacted by MOLDPRES, BNRM director Elena Pintilei said that the event was at its third issue.”Our goal is to present the miraculous world of books, to promote knowledge through tale and words pronounced with sense. The reading aloud, especially between adults and children, is one of the nicest activities in the world, especially if it is made with pleasure and as often as possible. This is a campaign of promoting happiness, beauty and benefits of the reading,” Elena Pintilei noted.
According to Pintilei, the Campaign of Promotion of Reading Aloud, titled, We Read Aloud Moldova – 2019, implies the creation of an environment friendly for the activities of reading aloud, encouraging the active participation of readers in discussions during collective readings, cooperation with education and research institutions.
