Moldovan Liberal Party launched in election campaign

Chisinau, 3 February /MOLDPRES/- The Liberal Party (PL) was launched today in the election campaign for the 24 February parliamentary elections.
The launch took place in Frăsineşti, Ungheni district, on the bank of the Prut river.
The event was attended by the party's leadership and several supporters.
Party leader Dorin Chirtoaca presented the commitments and actions that PL plans to make after the parliamentary elections. He opted for unification with Romania. "Together with Romania and Europe we will bring prosperity and change for the better," Chirtoaca said.
Party members made speeches and spoke out for “borderless Romania, for better future, higher wages and a decent life”.
In late January, many candidates launched in the election campaign. These include: Democratic Party of Moldova, Party of Socialists of the Republic of Moldova, the electoral bloc ACUM DA Platform and PAS, the People's Movement Anti-Mafia Party, the National Liberal Party, as well as several independent candidates.
The 24 February parliamentary elections will be held according to a mixed electoral system. Thus, 50 MPs will be elected on party lists and 51 parliamentarians in uninominal constituencies.
