New trolleybus route to Durlesti to be launched today

Chisinau, 4 February /MOLDPRES/- Trolleybus route No35, which makes the connection between Durlesti and the capital, will be launched today.

Acting mayor of Chisinau Ruslan Codreanu said “the new route will solve the problem of transporting passengers in suburban area.” “This year we aim to assemble 30 autonomous trolleybuses. The city hall has allocated 102 million lei to this end. We want people to travel in comfortable conditions,” he said.

At present, over 310 trolleybuses are running in Chisinau, of which 80 are of old type.
