Moldovan parliament appoints new director-general of National Agency for Complaints Settlement

Chisinau, 7 February /MOLDPRES/- Anatolie Zagorodnii was today appointed by the parliament as director-general of the National Agency for Complaints Settlement.
The head of the commission on economy, budget and finance, Stefan Creanga, said that the Democratic MP was selected following a public competition initiated after the vacancy of the position of director-general of the National Agency for Complaints Settlement. "He was the candidate who won the highest score in the contest," he said.
Anatolie Zagorodnii was appointed on a seven-year term and was supported by the majority of MPs present at the plenary session.
Anatolie Zagorodnii is 46 years old and since 2005 is a deputy in parliament. He came to the legislature on the lists of the Party of Communists, after which in 2017 he joined the Democratic Party.
