Chisinau, 7 February /MOLDPRES/ - The people who retired for age limit till 1999 and had a pensionable length of service of at least 15 years after the pension’s establishment, have started receiving increased pensions beginning with February. So far, about 3,800 applications for pension’s re-examination have been submitted to the National Social Insurances House (CNAS).
The increase in the pension after recalculation depends on the duration of the length of the pensionable service and the size of the salary from which social insurances contributions were paid. According to CNAS, the new formula of pension’s calculation does not only remove the inequities from the system, but also leads to the increase in pensions. The people who have already submitted an application on re-examination and who meet the law’s terms, but are not contained in the payment lists, will receive the difference till 20 February 2019, by appealing to the providers of pension payment services.
The re-examination of the age limit pension is made at a request by the person. The applicant must present the identity card and the work-record book.
The law which provides for the re-examination of the age limit pensions of the people who worked after retirement entered into force on 1 January 2019. According to the legal provisions, the pensions of the beneficiaries with a shorter length of pensionable service than 15 years will be revised in the next year and those set after 1 January 1999 will be re-examined starting from 2021, in stages, depending on duration of the length of pensionable service.
