Moldovan pensioners to receive 600 lei each before Easter

Chisinau, 7 February /MOLDPRES/ - The people benefiting from pensions and state allocations which do not exceed 2,000 lei might receive a one-off support worth 600 lei before Easter. The parliament approved a draft law to this effect today.

Under the draft, the people receiving age limit pensions, disability pensions, survivor pensions, pensions for length of service, pensions for some categories of employees, pensions of seasoned servicemen and their family members, pensions of participants in the Chernobyl accident relief works, as well as the people enjoying other social allocations set in the public pensions system till 1 April 2019 will benefit from one-off support.

According to estimations, more than 600,000 people will benefit from this one-off support. To enter into force, the parliament is to pass the draft law in the second reading.
