Voters may require certificates for voting by 23 February

Chisinau, 8 February /MOLDPRES/- Voters who will not be in the place where they have their domicile or residence on election day may apply for a certificate for voting before 23 February. It will allow them to vote in any polling station.
The certificate is issued by the electoral commission of the polling station on the basis of the identity card attesting to the voter's domicile or residence within the respective polling station.
The document allows voting at any polling station in Moldova, but only in the parliamentary elections in the national constituency and republican consultative referendum, and / or voting in parliamentary elections in the uninominal constituency, in any polling station on the territory of the uninominal constituency where the voter has valid residence.
According to the Central Electoral Commission (CEC), the electoral bureaus operate daily from 8.00 -17.00, and on weekends - a reduced work schedule.
On 24 February, citizens are expected to vote for the future parliament.
