Chisinau, 8 February /MOLDPRES/ - The schools from the rural settlements can participate in a contest to get a set of advanced equipments. The action is part of the project, Digital Inclusion. The files may be submitted till 4 March 2019.

According to the University Information Centre, the set of equipment includes two laptops, a printer, a projector and furniture for it. Only the gymnasiums and lyceums placed in rural settlements (including the suburbs of Chisinau), where at least 250 pupils study, can participate in the contest.

The goal of the project is to contribute to the digital inclusion of the gymnasiums and lyceums from the rural regions, by endowing them with equipment needed for carrying out a highly qualitative education process and to diminish the social exclusion of children from these zones.

The participation file must include an application form, a document confirming the number of pupils in the institution, an informative note about the institution’s endowment with IT equipment, a motivation letter due to explain the necessity of such equipment and a list of extracurricular activities organized in the institution.

The Rural Digital Inclusion project has reached its fifth issue, is organized with the full financial support of a foundation from Moldova and is backed by the Education, Culture and Research Ministry.
