Seven draft laws registered in Moldovan parliament

Chisinau, 12 February /MOLDPRES/- The seven bills on which the government assumed responsibility yesterday were registered in parliament, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.
“The government has the right and very well done, considering that the parliament cannot vote for the laws in the final reading. The government has assumed responsibility for very important issues related to social insurance and the single payroll system, " Parliament Speaker Andrian Candu said.
The package of laws aimed at amendments to the state budget law and the state social insurance budget for 2019, the Law on Free Economic Zone Bălţi. Also, one of the projects provides for wage increases for heads of kindergarten, schools and colleges, as well as wage increases for non-commissioned officers.
According to the Parliament's Regulations, the government can assume responsibility before Parliament on an organic or ordinary bill. If, within 72 hours, at least 1/4 of the elected MPs do not submit a censure motion to the government, the bill shall be deemed adopted.
