Programme Good Roads 2 repair works of 2,600 km start in fortnight in Moldova

Chisinau, 05 March /MOLDPRES/ – The repair works of 2,600 km of roads, rehabilitated under the national programme: Good Roads 2, will start in a fortnight. The latest preparations for the start of the project were examined today at a meeting convened by Prime Minister, Pavel Filip, with the officials in the field, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.

"Good projects must continue. One of these is the national programme: Good Roads, which has proved to be successful. We were convinced of it, including in the electoral campaign, when people thanked us for the repaired road in their village," said Pavel Filip.

In 2019, this programme provides repairing of 1,000 km of road more than in 2018.

The development of programme: Good Roads 2 began in November 2018, by request of proposals from local public authorities (ALP). The decisions to select sections of road for repair were approved at the meetings of the local Councils (CL) so as to express the interest of the entire community.

There were repaired almost 1,600 km of roads in localities throughout programme: Good Roads in 2018.
