Chisinau, 6 March /MOLDPRES/- The State Tax Service (SFS) will establish tax posts for flower merchants in the country to monitor their work on the eve of International Women's Day, marked on 8 March.
In total, on 6-7 March over 40 tax posts will operate in the country that will supervise the activity of taxpayers in this field.
According to SFS, the actions are organized in the context of growing demand for flowers on holidays, which leads to increased risk of tax violations, namely: non-use of cash machine to make cash settlements in order to reduce income and taxes related to the budget.
SFS recommends all taxpayers to comply with legislation in force, and buyers – to require cash receipt.
SFS also set up such tax posts in the capital on 13-15 February. Thus, while monitoring the flower traders, the volume of deliveries performed under cash machines was 1.9 million lei or up by 263% than in the same period of the previous year, which is significantly higher the volumes recorded outside tax posts.
