Chinese band gives concert at Martisor music festival in Moldova

Chisinau, 06 March /MOLDPRES/ – Shenzhen Aihua Chinese Music Ensemble from China presented a concert on 05 March evening at the National Philharmonic Serghei Lunchevici in Chisinau during the 53rd issue of the International Music Festival Martisor, which has taken place in the capital and throughout Moldova by 10 March.
The event was attended by the State Secretary for Culture of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research, Andrei Chistol, Ambassador of China to Moldova, Zhang Yinghong, representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Chisinau municipality.
At his turn, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of China to Chisinau, Zhang Yinghong, said that over the years China and Moldova have established solid relations of friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation.
According to the Chinese official, these relations have grown more intensely in recent years, while the mutual political trust has been strengthened, cooperation has expanded in various fields, and cultural exchanges have played an essential role, with a major impact on enhancing mutual understanding and consolidation of friendship between Moldovan and Chinese peoples, which in turn has provided a beneficial impetus for cooperation in other directions, too.
The Chinese band has featured several Chinese folk songs as well as pieces from the Romanian musical cultural area, including the traditional song: Trandafir de la Moldova (The rose from Moldova).
Shenzhen Aihua Chinese Music Ensemble is a chamber orchestra designed to highlight traditional Chinese music culture and exhibit fully both the different traditional Chinese music styles and musical innovations all interpreted to traditional Chinese instruments. It concerts in Austria, Egypt, France, Egypt, Germany, Italy, Great Britain, Russia, Singapore etc.
Today, at 17:00, Shenzhen Aihua Chinese Music Ensemble performs on the stage of the House of Cultural in Anenii Noi.
