Moldovan deputy premier meets Romania's ambassador

Chisinau, 6 March /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Cristina Lesnic today received Ambassador of Romania to Moldova Daniel Ionita, the Reintegration Policies Bureau has reported.
The two officials made a short review of the bilateral relations, joint goals on the next period and the political dialogue underway at the bilateral and regional levels.
The discussions were focused on the positive developments registered in the Transnistria-related issues, aspects dealing with the enforcement of the mechanism of registration of the vehicles from the Transnistrian region with neutral plates and the mechanism of apostilling the neutral diplomas, issued by the Tiraspol-based Taras Shevchenko University, ensuring the free movement of pupils and teachers from the Latin-script schools of the region, based on pupil cards and service certificates. The two sides reiterated the joint commitment for diversifying the cooperation sectors, with emphasis put on boosting the bilateral ties based on support and trust between the two countries.
The deputy prime minister expressed appreciation for the Romanian ambassador’s contribution to the development of projects meant to promote measures for building confidence between the two banks of Dniester.
