About 610,000 pensioners, beneficiaries of social allocations from Moldova to receive 600 lei each on Easter

Chisinau, 7 March /MOLDPRES/ - The beneficiaries of all types of pensions, set till 1 April 2019, the size of which does not exceed 2,000 lei, as well as the beneficiaries of state social allocations will receive 600 lei each on behalf of the state on Easter. The beneficiaries of allocations for care, accompanying and supervision represent exceptions. The cabinet approved the concerned draft law by taking responsibility.    

According to the government’s communication and protocol department, about 601,000 people will get the assistance in all. Most of them – over 400,000, are beneficiaries of age limit pensions. The others are people receiving disability pensions, survivor pensions or state social allocations.

The spending for the payment of this one-off assistance will be covered from the state budget and the money will be paid by the National Social Insurances House through providers of services ensuring the payment of pensions and social allocations.
