Chisinau, 7 March /MOLDPRES/ - The citizens’ access to compensated medicines will be enhanced. To this end, the cabinet today approved a draft law which provides for giving right also to competent specialists to prescribe compensated medication, including at private medical institutions. So far, these preparations have been prescribed by family physicians, neurologists, psychiatrists, endocrinologists and pediatricians from the providers of medical assistance contracted by the National Health Insurances Company (CNAM), the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The draft sets a model of contract due to be signed between private medical institutions and CNAM.
