Works of reconstructing sewerage to be resumed in central Moldova town

Chisinau, 12 March /MOLDPRES/ - The works within the project, Main aqueduct for the settlement of Bardar, Rusestii Noi (second phase) and sewerage networks for the Ialoveni town, will be resumed till late March.    

The work stages were considered by the Centru Regional Development Agency at a meeting with the participation of authorities and decision-makers in charge of  the programme’s implementation. The participants in the meeting established that, starting from 15 March, the works would be resumed at the sewerage networks of pressure and gravity drainage from the pumping station of the Albeni sector (Ialoveni town), sector No 3. The general entrepreneur unveiled the updated schedule of carrying out the construction works, which is coordinated with the beneficiary.       

The works provide for the building of a station for pumping residual waters in the Ialoveni town, as well as about 7.6 km of sewerage. After this sub-project is finished, about 1,700 Ialoveni town residents will have access to the reconstructed sewerage system.    

The sum of the enterprise contract is of about six million lei. So far, about 1.9 million lei has been used, with which 2.5 km of sewerage was constructed.  

This regional project was put up for financing from the National Regional Development Fund for the period 2017-2020. The project sees construction of the main aqueduct for the settlements Bardar, Rusestii Noi (Ialoveni district), as well as of the sewerage networks from the district centre.

The project is backed by development partners as well. Thus, under an agreement, the sum of the grant provided by the government of Slovakia is worth 100,000 euros and the contribution of the Senec-Pezinoc Slovakian Regional Development Agency is of 20,000 euros.
