Moldovan tax body registers high revenue

Chisinau, 26 March /MOLDPRES/- The State Tax Service (SFS) recorded yesterday revenues of 675 million lei to the state budget. Finance Minister Ion Chicu made the statement today.

Yesterday when it was the last day that legal entities submitted income tax statement for 2018, record receipts were registered. "SFS has got about 675 million to the state budget from economic agents, a record figure. The previous record figure was 510,000 lei, " he said.

On 25 March, deadline for submitting the income tax statement for 2018 for taxpayers, legal entities and private people engaged in entrepreneurial activity, as well as self-employed individuals has expired.

People who have not filed the statement within the term risk penalties of up to 10,000 lei.
