As many as 159 enterprises to be erased from state register of legal entities from Moldova

Chisinau, 03 April /MOLDPRES/ – The Public Services Agency (ASP) will initiate the procedure for deletion from the State Register of Legal Entities of 159 state-owned enterprises that do not operate for a long time or are not managed by the central public administration authorities that have formed them, according to a governmental decision, approved today.
The draft decision was drafted by the Public Property Agency (APP). The info note annexed to the project states that following the counterfeiting of info from the Public Heritage Register with information on state-owned enterprises registered in the State Register of Legal Entities, it was found that 442 state-owned enterprises are listed in this register but are not managed by the central public administration authorities that formed them.
"Practically, these state-owned enterprises have not been active for many years, usually the reasons being the lack of circulating means, their own real estate, the reduced competitiveness of production, services," states the APP. In their regard, the central public administration authorities (the successors of their founders) over the years have not taken steps to reanimate or liquidate them.
Thus, according to the Law on State Registration of legal persons and individual entrepreneurs, if they are inactive and have no debts to the national public budget, they do not own cash machines and fiscal memory control, they are not founders of other legal bodies the registration body the State shall initiate ex officio the procedure of deletion from the State Register of the inactive legal entity or of the inactive individual entrepreneur.
