National Patrol Inspectorate to boost patrol actions on roads of Moldova

Chisinau, 30 April /MOLDPRES/ - Employees of the National Patrol Inspectorate (INP) will boost actions of patrol on roads of Moldova. INP informed about its decision, after 11 traffic accidents had occurred in the last 24 hours, in the wake of which two persons died and another 15 were injured.
On this period, patrol inspectors discovered 18 quite drunk drivers and another over 100 were documented for movement with excessive speed.
„We are in the middle of the Easter and 1 May mini-vacation and those who did not go to rural regions fully take advantage of walks in open air. For each citizen to feel in safety, INP continues measures of preventing and prophylaxis of offences, being on duty in parks, public places, on streets,’’ INP said.
To prevent traffic accidents, law-enforcers recommend that drivers bear safety belts, observe the road traffic rules and the speed limit, as well as not drive drunk.
