Deadline for declaration on income tax expires today

Chisinau, 2 May /MOLDPRES/- Today is the last day that individual taxpayers can submit declaration on income tax for the fiscal period 2018.

To receive statements, the State Tax Service has extended the working hours in the last few days so that today the documents will be filed from 08.00 until 19.00.

The declaration on income tax must be submitted by private people who are residents of Moldova and have obligations to pay the tax, and individuals (Moldovan citizens, foreign citizens and stateless persons, including members of companies and shareholders of investment funds) who have no obligations to pay tax, but direct a percentage of the income tax to the budget.

Documents may be submitted electronically, in paper form or via the post office, by sending the declaration form by registered letter to the tax office where the taxpayer is served.
