Moldovan official journal roundup for 3 May

Chisinau, 2 May /MOLDPRES/- Family Day will be celebrated in Moldova on 15 May. Prime Minister Pavel Filip signed an order to this effect. The action plan on the event will be published in the Official Journal of Moldova on 3 May.

The document provides for organizing several actions dedicated to Family Day. These include exhibitions, conferences, round tables, competitions and flashmobs. The events will take place during May in different localities of the country.

Expenditure for implementing the actions on Family Day will be covered from the account and within the limits of the approved allocations in the budgets of the bodies responsible for their execution for 2019, as well as from other extra-budgetary sources.

Under the order, the local public administration authorities are to work out and implement action plans on holding Family Day at local level.

On 15 May, the International Family Day is marked annually. The event was set up by the UN General Assembly on 20 September 1993.
