Plum, grape producers can get grants under USAID project

Chisinau, 2 May /MOLDPRES/- Producers and exporters of plums and grapes in our country can get grants for the implementation of advanced post-harvest technologies that will facilitate compliance with the specific requirements of importers in the European Union market and will contribute to the growth of exports to this market.

Grants will be offered under the USAID Project in Moldova. Applicants may submit applications by 27 May.

Beneficiaries will get grants of between 600 and 900 thousand lei, the total amount allocated for granting them is 2.7 million lei. To demonstrate commitment to the activity, the applicant must contribute at least 50% of the total amount of grant activity.

Applicants must be registered as a legal entity, have a good reputation with the relevant authorities of the Republic of Moldova and comply with all civil, environmental and tax regulations.

At the same time, they have to show performance in the value chain of plums and table grapes, with an activity of at least 5 years.
