Euro to exceed threshold of 20 Moldovan lei again

Chisinau, 02 May /MOLDPRES/ – At the end of current week, the single European currency (EUR) continues to grow and returns to threshold of MDL 20.00.

According to the official exchange rates displayed by the National Bank of Moldova (BNM), in upcoming days EUR appreciates by MDL 0.12 and has a cost of MDL 20.04. It exceeded the threshold of MDL 20 in the middle of April, but at the end of last week it came to cost again less than MDL 20.

As for the US dollar (USD), the BNM has set for 03 May a currency exchange rate similar to the one of today – MDL 17.89.

The Romanian leu (RON) goes up by MDL 0.03, up to MDL 04.21. The Ukrainian hryvnia (UAH) preserves its value of MDL 0.67, and the Russian rouble (RUB) still costs MDL 0.27.
