Moldovan foreign affairs minister to participate in meeting of member states of Visegrad Group, Eastern Partnership

Chisinau, 3 May /MOLDPRES/ - Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Tudor Ulianovschi will participate in a meeting of the foreign affairs ministers of the member states of the Visegrad Group (V4) and Eastern Partnership (EaP), due in the capital of Slovakia, Bratislava, on 6 May, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s (MAEIE) press service has reported.
At the event, in which high-ranking officials on behalf of European institutions and Romania will take part, the discussions will be focused on achievements recorded in diverse fields of cooperation and coordination of political visions as regards the future of EaP.
In Bratislava, Minister Tudor Ulianovschi has also planned bilateral meetings with some of his counterparts, during which the sides are to tackle aspects of the cooperation within various European organizations and at the bilateral level.
The Visegrad Group is a cooperation organization, made up of four central European countries: the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and Hungary. The leaders of the four countries adopted the decision to set up the organization on 15 February 1991, in the medieval fortress Visegrad from Hungary.
