Moldovan foreign minstry’s staff participates at European Town – 2019

Chisinau, 12 May /MOLDPRES/ – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration (MAEIE), together with other state institutions, participated at European Town – 2019, the annual public event organised by EU Delegation in Chisinau on the occasion of Europe Day, held in Public Garden Stefan cel Mare si Sfant, the MAEIE’s public diplomacy, strategic communication and media interaction service has reported.

The issue of European Town – 2019 is a special one, as it celebrates several significant anniversaries: 10 years since the launch of the Eastern Partnership, which includes Moldova, 05 years since the signing of Moldova – EU  Association Agreement and 05 years of entry into force of the visa – free travel regime in EU.

The event has been marked by a record presence of Moldovan state institutions. The 26 participating institutions, including the Parliament of Moldova, State Chancellery, ministries, agencies, offices, national authorities and state enterprises, have illustrated the efforts made and results achieved by Moldova on the path of European integration over recent years.

The visitors to MAEIE have had the opportunity to receive answers to all questions about the Eastern Partnership, Association Agreement and Moldova – EU cooperation in general, and the MAEIE team has distributed info materials and general culture tests on the European integration process as interactive nature of communication with citizens of all ages.

There is to remind that on 18 May, European Town – 2019 goes to Cahul, where several cultural events are scheduled and where MAEIE will expect all those who are keen to know more about European integration of Moldova.
