Online registration portal at kindergartens becomes 4th most popular electronic public service

Chisinau, 20 May /MOLDPRES/- About 19,000 applications have been submitted by parents to the online registration portal for children at kindergarten - egradiniţa.md. Thus, it has become the fourth most popular electronic public service in the country. The information was presented today by acting mayor of Chisinau Ruslan Codreanu at the weekly meeting.

"I am glad 19,000 parents no longer know what it means to run a week for 3-4 institutions for a procedure now done in 11 minutes. The platform will be improved this summer, " he said.

Codreanu said that in 2018 the budget allocated to kindergartens has increased fourfold. At the same time, last year repairs were made to 110 kindergartens in Chisinau. He also noted that this year, seven kindergartens will be reopened in the capital, which will allow the creation of about 1,800 new places for children.

Codreanu also referred to the online platform for enrolling children in the first grade. According to him, the parents of 7,500 children out of the 8,000 who are going to go this year in first grade have already filed applications on escoala.md platform.
