Moldovan foreign affairs minister meets president of Ukraine

Chisinau, 20 May /MOLDPRES/ - Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Tudor Ulianovschi today discussed with President of Ukraine Volodymir Zelensky the Moldovan-Ukrainian relations and their development in the long run, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s public diplomacy, strategic communication and media interaction service has reported.
At the meeting, Tudor Ulianovschi conveyed congratulations of Moldova’s leadership to the new president of Ukraine. He expressed confidence that the political dialogue and bilateral cooperation between the two states would further develop on the rise. Highlighting the historical good-neighbour relations between Moldova and Ukraine, as well as the common challenges, the Moldovan official noted that mutually advantageous projects can be carried out by joint efforts.
President Volodymir Zelensky said that Ukraine was interested in the development of a constructive dialogue with Moldova on all dimensions and expressed willingness to get involved in this process.
Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Tudor Ulianovschi participated in the inauguration of the newly-elected President of Ukraine Volodymir Zelensky, held in Kiev today.
