Over 51,000 diabetics from Moldova received free glucometers

Chisinau, 21 May /MOLDPRES/- More than half of the 100,000 parcels with glucometers, tests and chains purchased by the state have so far been distributed to people with diabetes in 31 districts. Their distribution continues and the beneficiaries will receive them by mail.
According to the National Health Insurance Company, by late June the parcels will reach another 49 thousand people from the districts of Ialoveni, Orhei, Rezina, Dubasari and Chisinau.
So far, the sets of devices have been delivered in 22 districts: Cahul, Leova, Cantemir, Comrat, Cimislia, Stefan Voda, Causeni, Vulcanesti, Ceadar-Lunga, Taraclia, Ungheni, Telenesti, Hancesti, Anenii Noi, Calarasi, Falesti, Nisporeni, Balti, Sangerei, Soroca, Drochia and Basarabeasca.
If the person with diabetes does not receive the parcel by late June, should contact the post office in the locality, and if missing, can call INFO CNAM - 080099999, free call.
The free distribution of glucometers, tests and chains was launched for the first time by the National Health Insurance Company in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection. It offers about 100 thousand sets of medical devices free of charge to people with diabetes.
