PM visits two localities in central district of Moldova

Chisinau, 22 May /MOLDPRES/ – Prime Minister, Pavel Filip, has visited villages Voinova and Sireti in Straseni district, so as to inspect the infrastructure projects' implementation, but also congratulated villagers on occasion of the Day of localities, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.
In village Voinova, it has been inaugurated the House of Culture today, for which it was provided MDL 1 million, but also the Office of Family Physicians, for which it was offered the amount of MDL 700 thousand from budget (BS).
The inhabitants of Voinova enjoy the street lighting now, the cost of the project being estimated at MDL 560 thousand. There are also being carrying out works to repair road Straseni – Voinova. In 2019, it has been allocated the sum of 12 million for its renovation. Totally, it will be rehabilitated 21 km of road. The project is worth MDL 75 million.
"I was glad to see that some of the projects we had talked about earlier this year are already being done. I have not forgotten about some other vital projects, such as gasification, repair of other road parts in locality. The money is included in the budget and, as soon as the tender procedures are over, there will start the works," said Pavel Filip.
Similarly, the Sireti inhabitants has had a reason for joy, today. There were completed the repair works at the House of Culture in the locality, which cost about MDL 350 thousand. Also, there will be repaired the high school, two kindergartens, but also some road segments of locality. "We allocated MDL 2.5 million for renovation of several roads under project: Good Roads 2. The auctions have ended and I hope that the machines and road employees will soon appear in your locality," specified Pavel Filip.
The Premier has said that all these projects will be accomplished by joint efforts. "Thank you for what you do for your locality. You are household people who live in their locality, in their country, and these things bind us," said PM.
