Chisinau, 23 May /MOLDPRES/- The decision of the National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE) on approval of the Regulation on development of distribution grids will be published in the Official Journal of Moldova on 24 May.

The Regulation sets out elaboration, assessment and approval of the plans for the development of distribution grids, network development stages and responsibilities of the parties involved in the process.

Under the regulations, the distribution system operators are required to work out and submit to ANRE a plan for the development of the distribution network for a period of 3 years. The document also sees that the plan for 2020-2022 is to be submitted by 1 September 2019.

At the same time, by 30 April, the distribution system operator will submit a report on the implementation of the development plan and the investment plan for the previous year.
