Euro, U.S. dollar to appreciate against Moldovan leu in early next week

Chisinau, 24 May /MOLDPRES/ – The European single currency (EUR) and U.S. dollar (USD) appreciate against the Moldovan leu (MDL) at the beginning of upcoming week, according to official exchange rates presented by the National Bank of Moldova (BNM).

Thus, on Monday, 27 May, the cost of EUR is MDL 20.19, with MDL 0.12 more than today. The price of USD goes up by MDL 0.02 – MDL 18.05.

The Romanian leu (RON) adds MDL 0.03 early next week – MDL 04.24.

The BNM's rates set for the Ukrainian hryvnia (UAH) and Russian rouble (RUB) remain unchanged: RUB – MDL 0.27, and UAH – MDL 0.68.
