Children's access to Zoo to be free on 1 June

Chisinau, 27 May /MOLDPRES/- On 1 June children's access to Zoo will be free. Acting mayor of Chisinau Ruslan Codreanu made the statement today.

First skatepark in Moldova will be inaugurated on 1 June.

At the today’s meeting of the city hall, the mayor asked praetors and department heads as the feast of the children belongs only to them. "I ask the feast of the children be without speeches of the officials, and this must be for the last bell sound" he said.

Deputy head of Zoo Sergiu Panzari said that "Rural Court" is located just at the entrance to the institution. He noted that the idea was taken from abroad, where there are such children's spaces for many years. "No additional fees will be for access to this court. The only condition is that visitors do not feed the animals with food from home,” he said.

The zoo collection currently has over 1,600 animals. About 300 thousand people visit the zoo park in Chisinau annually.
