Chisinau city hall purchases 10 new sanitation, snow removal tractors

Chisinau, 28 May /MOLDPRES/ – There have been purchased 10 tractors with brushes, blades, salt – mines, trailers and delivered to municipal services today.

Present at the presentation of the technique, the acting mayor of Chisinau, Ruslan Codreanu, has said that it has been changed about 30 per cent of the equipment in recent year, being bought equipment that had not been used in the capital, such as grass mowers, vacuum cleaners, blowers, handlers, shredders.

"For decades, the municipality was working with old technique, which was more in repair than in work. With new acquisitions, working conditions for our colleagues have become better and the efficiency of higher sanitation," said Codreanu.

In early April, the Chisinau authorities purchased 30 street vacuum cleaners and 50 grass mowers. Also, there will be bought five vans and five mini loaders out of MDL 14 million planned in 2019 for the purchase of street sanitation equipment.
