Meteorologists announce yellow code for electric discharges, storms in Moldova

Chisinau, 29 May /MOLDPRES/ – The State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS) has announced the Yellow Code for electric discharges and storms by 30 May.

According to the SHS’s information and media communication service, within indicated period, there are expected electric discharges, and isolated strong heavy rainfalls (15 – 35 l/m2) with hail and storms, in gusts up to 15 – 20 m/s.

In this context, the rescuers and patrol police urge the population to exercise caution, especially in traffic, to avoid unsafe and dangerous places, and, in exceptional cases, call Emergency service 112.

In upcoming 24 hours, weather condition cools down insignificant throughout Moldova, with temperatures of 24ºC – 28ºC, during the day, and 13ºC – 18ºC at night.
