Two kindergartens in Moldovan capital flooded, gymnasium without power due to heavy rain

Chisinau, 3 June /MOLDPRES/- Pupils of Gymnasium No86 of Buiucani district cannot hold the final examinations due to lack of electricity. The last night's rain flooded two kindergartens in the same sector. Buiucani praetor Vadim Brânzaniuc made the statement at the operative meeting of municipal services.
According to Brânzaniuc, the heavy rain of last night left without electricity a whole neighborhood around the Embassy of Ukraine. “Today pupils of Gymnasium No86 were supposed to pass the first graduation exam. At 9:00 electricity was not reconnected. We have noticed Red Union Fenosa company,” he said.
He noted that the rain affected even more rooms in kindergartens No183 and 164, and many road sections in the sector are impracticable due to water and mud.
The rain formed true lakes on several streets in Ciocana district, and in front of an enterprise in Rascani district the streams flooded a car parked in the area.
Today graduates of the ninth grade take the exam in Romanian language and literature (speakers of other languages). Under the regulations, it begins at 9.00 and lasts two hours.
