Euro, U.S. dollar appreciate against Moldovan leu again

Chisinau, 03 June /MOLDPRES/ – The European single currency (EUR) and U.S. dollar (USD) appreciate against the Moldovan leu (MDL) again. For Tuesday, 04 June, the National Bank of Moldova (BNM) has announced a rate of MDL 20.35 for €1.

Thus, the cost of EUR is MDL 0.07 more than in early of current week. The value of USD goes up by MDL 0.01 to MDL 18.20 for $1.

As it stands for the Romanian leu (RON), then it gets dearer up to MDL 04.29, with MDL 0.02 more than on Monday, 03 June. The quotations set by the BNM for the Ukrainian hryvnia (UAH) and Russian rouble (RUB) remain the same. As such, RUB costs – MDL 0.27, while UAH – MDL 0.67.
