Chisinau, 7 June /MOLDPRES/ – "Because in the budget of the Republic of Moldova no money was provided for snap polls, we will seek solutions that all expenses will be borne by the parties in parliament." PDM deputy head Adrian Candu made the statement on 7 June, shortly after Moldovan President Igor Dodon announced that early elections will be held.

According to Candu, the formation of a Government has not succeeded in the three months since it was validated the election. He reiterated that his party, immediately after the elections of 24 February, showed willingness to discuss the formation of a parliamentary majority with block ACUM but they did not come to talk.

"We did not discuss functions. Regretfully, I have noticed within three months that the talks of PSRM and ACUM have focused only on positions and have just made a show. We have arrived at early elections and the PDM will make every effort to ensure that citizens do not have any negative impact, including financial and all expenses to be paid by parliamentary parties," said Candu.

According to former head of the Constitutional Court, Alexandru Tanase, the legal term for making up a Government expires today.

The leaders of block ACUM have issued a statement that they are waiting for PSRM to talks until midnight, when elapse 90 days since validation of the parliamentary elections.
