Chisinau, 8 June /MOLDPRES/- President Igor Dodon announced today at a press conference that he would invite parliamentary factions for consultations. They would be held on 10 June.
According to Dodon, even if the Constitutional Court came up with details on the deadline for the dissolution of the parliament, he will not sign the decree on the dissolution of the legislative forum today.
"I will invite the parliamentary factions for consultations on Monday to decide what we are doing next. May or not the parties today negotiate, on 24 February they try, maybe today they find compromise." The basic question is whether the common vote will be recognized, " he said.
Today the Constitutional Court clarified the deadline for dissolving parliament after which no government can be formed. According to the legislation in force, after the expiration of the three-month term after the validation of the elections, the President of the Republic of Moldova is obliged to dissolve the Parliament if the Government has failed to form, including if the vote of confidence for the formation of the Government has not been accepted.
