Chisinau, 8 June /MOLDPRES/- Democrat leader Vlad Plahotniuc confirmed today in a briefing that he had talks with Igor Dodon for nearly three months, but talks have stalled due to new demands in the geopolitical area.
PSRM was playing with ACUM bloc, hoping the PDM would accept the conditions, especially federalization. "The PDM and PSRM coalition was almost done. But I refused to sign because that meant betraying the country. What Dodon, PSRM and ACUM bloc did today, is a coup d'etat," Plahotniuc said.
He said that PDM does not recognize the legality of what happened today in Parliament and added that the party he is leading "will take all legal and democratic actions that Moldova will not reach the crisis."
"Starting today, Moldovan citizens do not have a legitimate president, and the people have the right to elect another president who is not compromised, vulnerable to other interests." Snap polls should not be paid from the budget but from the money of the parties,” he said.
