Police to take all measures to keep public order

Chisinau, 8 June /MOLDPRES/- The police will be on duty 24 hours out of 24 hours and will take all measures to maintain public order. The head of IGP, Alexandru Pînzari, made the statement today at a news conference.
He urged citizens not to be provoked and to observe the actions of police and carabineers who are going to work. "For us safety of citizens is a priority, there is much speculation and please do not be provoked and drive the legal and constitutional provisions," Pîzari said.
He noted that police and carabineers have strengthened security around state-owned buildings, and if protest actions are organized, they will work to maintain peace and security. He added that today posts around diplomatic buildings have been strengthened for safety of diplomats.
