Chisinau, 09 June /MOLDPRES/ – The early elections will take place on 06 September. The decree setting the date for the early elections has been signed on Sunday, 09 June, by Prime Minister, Pavel Filip, who has assured the interim president of Moldova.
After document signing, Pavel Filip has appealed to all political forces not to provoke dissension but to go to the "judgment of people, early elections".
Filip has assured that all state institutions would function in a normal way and he has urged citizens to respect constitutional order.
The official has also said that PDM did not want it in anticipation being the first political party to come to parliamentary parties.
"After the crisis triggered by PSRM and ACUM, there is no other solution, the political class is compromised, it failed to create a Government in three months, some parties wanted to fight for positions, not for the needs of citizens. It is essential that the people is the one who has the right to decide who deserves the mandate of MP," said Filip.
Pavel Filip has appealed to Igor Dodon. "This appeal is to Igor Dodon. His resignation is absolutely necessary and natural after the entire country has seen how he is ready to betray Moldova and recognises that PSRM is financed by Russia and has to bear political responsibility for treason."
He has also asked the politicians whom he urged "not to force the implementation of this plan that meets the elements of a coup."
