Chisinau, 11 June /MOLDPRES/- The Supreme Security Council convened in a meeting today. General Prosecutor Eduard Harunjen and Governor of the National Bank of Moldova Octavian Armaşu missed the meeting.

At the end of the meeting, President Igor Dodon said that several issues were discussed, including bank fraud.

He noted that the council will ask the General Prosecutor's Office and the National Bank to urgently present the Kroll 2 report and said it would ask the international community to get involved in investigating bank fraud.

Igor Dodon said he had information as it would try "destroying evidence".

"There are two state institutions that seek online information on bank transfers exceeding 500 thousand lei. We request the BNM and the Money Laundering Service to inform daily the Supreme Security Council about the flow of money. We request information on all transfers starting 1 January 2019. We are alerting the employees of the investigative bodies and inquiry about the liability after the disappearance of evidence on bank fraud,” he said.
