Euro, U.S. dollar cheapen insignificantly against Moldovan leu

Chisinau, 11 June /MOLDPRES/ – The European currency (EUR) cheapens on Wednesday, 12 June, with MDL 0.02 against the Moldovan leu (MDL). The National Bank of Moldova (BNM) has announced a rate of MDL 20.46 for €1.

Also, the U.S. dollar (USD) decreases by MDL 0.03 to the price of MDL 18.80 for $1.

The Romanian leu (RON) cheapens by MDL 0.01 compared to Tuesday to the cost of MDL 04.34. The quotations set by the BNM for the Ukrainian hryvnia (UAH) and Russian rouble (RUB) have remained almost unchanged: RUB – MDL 0.28, and UAH – MDL 0.68.
