Moldovan PM has meeting with heads of districts

Chisinau, 11 June /MOLDPRES/ – The Prime Minister, Pavel Filip, has discussed the existing situation of the political developments in Moldova at a meeting with participation of the heads of districts and Cabinet of Ministers, on Tuesday, 11 June. The PM has specified that at this time, the most important thing is that people should be given all necessary support from the state institutions, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.
"The institutions work in a normal way and my call to you is to secure this work for the benefit of the citizen, because beyond these political shows that are happening in our country, people are behind us and that is the most important thing. They must not suffer and should not feel political fights and polemics," said Premier.
The head of the Cabinet of Ministers has assured that local public authorities (ALP) will not have financial burdens in providing wages for public clerks. "You will receive the money, we will transfer it on time, the wages will be paid in time and the started projects – will be all executed in time," said Pavel Filip.
In this context, the district heads thanked Prime Minister for the social projects initiated by the Government of Filip, such as – The first home or Good roads, and called for their continuation. They took advantage of the meeting format, as to report to the Government on the difficulties encountered in implementing the water infrastructure projects in the Cahul and Ungheni districts.
Another issue addressed at the meeting focused on consequences of the natural disasters in Moldova and how they can be overcome. Thus, there were mentioned lands and roads affected by heavy rainfalls in Hancesti districts, but also Telenesti. In this context, Pavel Filip urged local authorities to come forward with requests to the Emergency Situations Committee (CSE) for assessment of losses. "The sooner you give all these evaluations, the sooner we will take the necessary measures and help you," said PM.
